Chiodini Architects is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Interior Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a well-established architectural firm with a diverse portfolio of municipal, public safety, recreation, religious, educational, commercial, and community-focused projects.
We are looking for a creative, self-motivated professional who enjoys collaborating with clients, leading design efforts, mentoring team members, and creating thoughtful, functional, and inspiring spaces. Responsibilities
Lead interior design efforts from programming and concept development through construction administration.
Meet directly with clients to establish project goals, design vision, and functional requirements.
Develop space plans, finish palettes, material selections, furniture concepts, and interior architectural details.
Prepare presentation materials, renderings, finish boards, and client-facing design documents.
Research and specify materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors throughout the design process.
Develop finish schedules, specifications, and construction documentation.
Mentor and collaborate with junior design staff.
Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design.
5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in the A/E industry.
Demonstrated experience leading projects and working directly with clients.
Strong knowledge of space planning, finish selection, furniture systems, lighting, and interior detailing.
Proficiency in Revit required.
Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar visualization software is a plus.
NCIDQ certification preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
