Interior Design Intern | Sygrove Associates Design Group Inc. | Handshake

NOTE: This is a YEAR ROUND internship position where you can work as many hours as you can, up to 25 hours/week. We will work around your school schedule. Sygrove Associates is interior design firm specialized in lobby, hallway and common area installations in high-end cooperatives, condominiums, and real estate developments. We are currently looking for an energetic, highly organized, and creative intern to join our team. The candidate will assist the team with various design related tasks. Must be a team player able to multitask and work in a fast paced small office. We are working remotely but attend site jobs and office as needed. This is a paid internship. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist with administrative work + detailed phone messages Prepare presentation boards + company brochures Schedule vendor product presentations Update project maintenance manuals + specifications Source materials and furnishings for designers Research of new materials Assist with furniture and material delivery inspections Punch list spaces and return to verify completion Maintenance of sample library Communication with vendors + request product information, samples, and quotes Take photos of jobsites Take on-site measurements as needed Assist with on-site measuring + survey Visit fabric and vendor showrooms Assist with miscellaneous work at job sites Purchase of miscellaneous items and accessories for jobsites when needed Delivery of samples and material boards to Client/Vendor as needed Qualifications & Requirements: MS Office AutoCAD Adobe Photoshop SketchUp 2nd Semester Sophomore or Junior year student enrolled in an interior design or related program Must be authorized to work in the United States Please send your resume, cover letter and work samples (include renderings and any detail drawings) to mdecandido@ce3solutions.net
