We are a quality-driven company providing world-class services investing in residential and multifamily property development and offering high end designs in locations within the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
The position is Interior Design Assistant. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sketch preliminary design plans.
Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes,
flooring, and plumbing fixtures
Prepare final plans, using design applications
Preparation design patterns (tiles, casing and etc)
Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs
Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design elements
Visit after the project to ensure that the client is satisfied
Preparing and updating job tracking sheet
Organization of office paperwork
Preparation of scopes, budgets and proposals
Preparation of weekly and monthly schedules/checklists and oversight of
those schedules/checklists. Review with firm Principal at least weekly.
Must read blueprints and aware of building codes and inspection regulations'

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
• Drafting: 1 year (Required)
• chief architect: 1 year (Required)
