About this role
Hayley & Co. is a full-service boutique interior design firm based in Denver, Colorado specializing in residential and commercial spaces. We are looking to expand our team by adding an Interior Design Assistant Project to our firm in Denver, CO.
We are passionate about design and our clients’ happiness. We are a small firm specializing in high end residential design, and are looking for a motivated, talented team member to help with a large workload and participate in a variety of tasks. The role will start out in a part-time contract capacity and grow into an integral full-time member of our team. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to thrive in an intimate and fun, yet fast-paced industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as business needs dictate)
• Support Principal Designer and Design Team with conceptual design and preparing & attending presentations.
• Understanding the Company processes and systems involved in business and organizational planning, coordination,
and execution of each client project.
• Organize and manage samples resource library.
• Accompany Principal Designer on client appointments and act as primary Note Taker. Take photos, measurements,
and other detailed information of all relevant items for Principal Designer at job site meetings.
• Provide a broad variety of administrative tasks, such as sending touch points for clients, vendors, and tradespeople.
• Be willing to be on the go, running business errands, picking up and dropping off items and samples.
• Social Media liaison with firm and marketing partner.
Job Skills and Requirements
• Professional level verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of entire MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Computer skills to include Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, SketchUp, and AutoCad preferable.
• Excellent organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with attention to
detail.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills with ability to suggest solutions.
• Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company and personal information.
• Must be flexible and a team player.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or certification in interior design.
• 1 year of work experience in the field of interior design, preferably in residential design.
• Must have reliable transportation
Company Offerings
• Title: Interior Design Assistant
• Position: Part-time, Contract
• Salary dependent on experience
• Pay review at 90 days, increase commensurate with quality of work.
• Quarterly and Year-end bonuses based on firm profitability.
• Monthly contribution for mobile phone
• Flexible Schedule
• This is an in-office position, not remote
• Each mile of personal car use based on IRS tax code (This does not include mileage from home to work)
• Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM
