About this role

Location: Oakland, CA Wit Interiors is a small boutique interior design studio focusing on residential interior design. We offer a positive, collaborative and fun learning environment. As a smaller firm, our staff members have the opportunity to wear many hats. This is a great studio for a candidate who wants to learn about all facets of running an interior design firm... The ideal candidate for this position has an outgoing can do attitude, and is eager to jump in and support the Principal designer and Designer in a variety of design and administrative functions. A perfect opportunity for a design lover who is detailed, organized, creative, and passionate about growing with an expanding design studio. RESPONSIBILITIES Finish & Material Schedules. Coordinate with vendors for quotes, reserves, and specifications. Furniture and material budgets, proposals/invoices, purchase orders, specification sheets, procurement, tracking, and delivery/installation coordination. Product research and inspired sourcing of furnishings, lighting, accessories, fixtures, finishes, and material options. Create detailed furniture and construction plans in CAD Sample orders/returns, coordinate shipping and receiving company. Prepare for team and client meetings and presentations. Maintain project binders and electronic records. General organizational and administrative tasks. Miscellaneous errands. Help principal designer create and maintain social media strategy QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Degree in Interior Design/Architecture or equivalent experience (non-negotiable) Minimum 1 year of interior design experience (internships count) Proficient level of AutoCAD experience (minimum 1+ years is preferred) Ability to work independently. Knowledge of all basic office technology and equipment, including MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a self-starter, highly competent in a variety of areas, and self-sufficient Energetic, passionate, focused, and passionate about helping our studio grow. Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities and confidence in managing tasks in a quickly evolving environment. Ability to learn and grow in high-pressure situations. Tech savvy and creative. Valid Driver's License, reliable car, and car insurance required to run errands and pick up/return items. We of course reimburse for mileage.
