Rebel Builders is a Latinx, women-owned and operated remodeling Company. We are a collaborative, innovative design-build team in Boston’s Metropolitan area. Rebel is seeking a full-time Design Assistant to join the team to be involved in all aspects of our residential remodeling projects. Skills • Energetic, detail-oriented, thorough, and have a curiosity to learn. • Excellent writing and communication skills. • Technically capable of picking up new systems and programs quickly. • Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines as required. The design assistant must be able to self-manage their time to complete all deadlines as required. • Ability to take direction and collaborate with others, while working independently and as part of a project team. • Thoroughly communicate thoughts and ideas with team members and clients. Responsibilities • Assist Lead Designers, Design Admin, Founder, and Construction Team in all phases of the design and build process. • Effectively maintain and organize the resource database while increasing productivity. • Source materials, furnishings, fabrics, fixtures, and finishes, and assist in the creation of selections in Buildertrend. • Prepare presentation boards, while adding value to any client presentations. • Handle miscellaneous client inquiries via phone, text, or email, to ensure client satisfaction. • Assist Lead Designers in the creation and editing of REVIT record sets and plans is a plus. • Participate in client/designer meetings, taking notes and creating a record of decisions. • Assist Design Team with Site Visits, and Showroom Visits. Experience • Advanced English (Required) • Interior Design Degree or 1+ years of Interior Design Experience (Required) • Google Drive (ie. Docs, Cal, Sheets, etc.) (Required) • REVIT (Preferred) • Buildertrend (Preferred) • Adobe Suite (Preferred) • Sketchup (Preferred) • Reliable Car (Required) Benefits • Salary Range: $46,000-$54,000 • Flexible working schedule (40 hours/week required) • 80 Hours PTO following a probationary period • Fully covered monthly premium cost of medical insurance (33% coverage to spouse and children) • Fully covered monthly premium cost of Dental and Vision Insurance • Life Insurance • Long and short-term Disability insurance • Matching 401k • Professional development assistance Please include a cover letter with your application.
