Interior Design assistant or Design Associate

Looking for an experienced interior designer or assistant to join a fast paced team. A great opportunity for a hard working person willing to go the extra mile for our clients. Small but busy firm with potential for quick advancement. Demonstrated ability in Auto cad, Chief Architect or similar is a big bonus as is working knowledge of window treatments and furnishings. The ideal candidate is outgoing and personable, able to interact with all types of clients, can multi task easily and is willing to do what it takes to learn our lines and be able to work on client projects and retail design project. Sales ability is important. The job entails handling check in's of product for clients, maintaining resource room, ordering products, sales, researching problems to find solutions, interfacing with vendors, working with the design team on space planning and color stories, assisting retail design clients with furnishings selections and window treatments and any other task related the the business. Pay is commensurate with experience and ability to hit the ground running and is not limited once trained and contributing to the team. Advancement is possible quickly but must be able to handle jobs independently before advancement is considered and pay would be predicated on profitability.
