Interior Design Assistant

Company: Creative Partner is a German owned interior design company in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. We specialize in conceptual floor plan design for home remodels, additions, and ADUs, as well as German-style kitchen and bath design. Job Type: Part-time Role Overview: Creative Partner is seeking a motivated Interior Designer / Design Assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our senior designers on a variety of residential projects, ranging from kitchen and bath design to full-home remodels and new builts. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and a passion for interior design, assisting with everything from initial concept development to material sourcing, procurement, and project execution. Key Responsibilities: · Assist in the interior design and concept development of residential spaces · Source and procure finished materials, ensuring selections meet both functional and aesthetic goals · Create digital concept boards, design presentations, and project documentation for client meetings · Collaborate with senior designers and contractors, ensuring project timelines and budgets are adhered to Qualifications: · Strong understanding of interior design principles, color theory, and spatial planning · Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively · Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail · Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces · Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor relationships is a plus
