About UsEstablished in 2006, DAJ DESIGN is a boutique architectural studio located in downtown Louisville, Colorado. We sit at the intersection of Denver and Boulder, creating designs that resonate with their place and purpose. Our portfolio is diverse, spanning high-end residential new construction, transformative remodels, creative commercial spaces, and contemporary historic renovations.
We are a small, collaborative team committed to creating beautiful, meaningful work. We are looking for an experienced designer who shares our passion for a holistic design approach.
The RoleStatus: Full-time or Part-time (flexible for the right candidate).Location: Louisville, CO (Hybrid/Remote flexibility available).ResponsibilitiesIntegrated Design: Participate in conceptual design and provide support through all project phases, from initial sketches to CA.Interiors Expertise: Lead the selection and specification of residential interior materials, fixtures, finishes, and furnishings (FF&E).Technical Documentation: Independently apply architectural concepts to create detailed drawing sets, including interior elevations, cabinetry/millwork details, and lighting plans.Project Management: Organize schedules, manage multiple projects, and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and team members.Adaptability: Embrace the \"many hats\" environment of a small studio, contributing to both interior and exterior architectural development.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Interior Design from an accredited U.S. university.Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in high-end residential or boutique commercial projects.Software Mastery: High proficiency in Revit is mandatory. Experience with Lumion, SketchUp, and Google Suite is preferred.Technical Skill: Proven ability to handle detailing and documentation for \"start-to-finish\" construction.Licensure: On track with NCARB/NCIDQ (preferred).Status: U.S. citizen or holder of a valid work visa.BenefitsStarting Salary: $50,000 – $80,000 (commensurate with experience).Health: Full health coverage.Retirement: Simple IRA with employer match.PTO: Generous and flexible Paid Time Off (2–4 weeks) plus 6 federal holidays.Flexibility: Opportunity for partial remote/work-from-home schedule.Application InstructionsTo apply, please send your resume and a PDF work sample (max 25MB) to .
