In-Home Design Consultant

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an In-Home Bathroom Design Consultant, where your passion for interior aesthetics and customer service will transform bath spaces into personalized masterpieces. In this energetic role, you will meet with clients in their homes to understand their design visions, provide expert advice, and create tailored solutions that elevate their bathroom. Your expertise in layout design, lighting, renovation, and high-end sales will drive customer satisfaction and inspire confidence. Responsibilities Engage with clients directly in their homes to assess space, style preferences, and functional needs. Develop detailed layout designs using pictures and Ipad to visualize concepts clearly. Present product options and design solutions that align with client budgets and aspirations, emphasizing upselling opportunities. Collaborate with clients on renovation and remodeling projects, offering guidance on construction, lighting design, and maintenance considerations. Conduct inside sales activities including product merchandising, stock management, and marketing initiatives to enhance the customer experience. Utilize strong communication skills to negotiate effectively, ensuring client satisfaction while meeting sales targets. Maintain organizational skills to track project progress, follow up with clients, and manage multiple consultations seamlessly. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on bathrooms, showers, bathtubs, or similar products. Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, and lighting design tools to create compelling visual layouts. Strong negotiation skills coupled with knowledge of remodeling, renovation, construction processes, and interior design principles. Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse client bases effectively. Familiarity with merchandising strategies, and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Excellent communication skills to articulate design ideas clearly and build lasting client relationships.
