Furniture Sales/Interior Design Consultant

Do you love interior design, working with people, and helping turn ideas into beautiful spaces? Habegger Furniture is looking for a Furniture Sales / Interior Design Consultant to join our team. This isn't a traditional retail sales position. Our clients come to us looking for guidance — choosing the right furniture, finding the perfect fabric or finish, planning a room, and bringing an entire space together. We're looking for someone who enjoys listening, problem-solving, designing, and building relationships while also being motivated to turn those relationships into sales. What You'll Do Work one-on-one with clients to understand their style, needs, space, and lifestyle Help clients select furniture, fabrics, finishes, and other design elements Recommend room layouts and creative solutions for clients' homes Guide customers through our extensive selection of furniture and customization options Build relationships with clients from their first showroom visit through the completed project Follow up on quotes, projects, and sales opportunities Develop strong product knowledge through ongoing training Create accurate quotes and orders using our sales systems Collaborate with our design, office, service, and delivery teams Help maintain an organized, inspiring showroom Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Genuinely enjoy working with people Have an eye for design, color, scale, and proportion Are a good listener and naturally ask questions Enjoy helping people make decisions Are comfortable selling and asking for the business Are self-motivated and willing to follow up rather than waiting for the customer to call Are organized and detail-oriented Enjoy learning and becoming knowledgeable about products Can work independently while also being a strong teammate Take pride in providing a polished, professional customer experience Furniture or interior design experience is helpful, but the right personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn are just as important.
