Freelance + Temp Junior Designer | Drafter + Procurement

Seeking a Freelance Junior Designer | Drafter + Procurement | Los Angeles Based | Hybrid Remote Velinda Hellen Design, a Los Angeles based design team, is seeking a freelance junior designer — with a focus on drafting and procurement — to join our growing team this summer. This is a part-time freelance position ranging from 10 to 30 hours per week, requiring the willingness to divide those hours across the full week. Full time hours would be expected during deadlines. This role has the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate. The position is primarily remote, with expectations for site visits and occasional in-person team meetings in the Los Angeles area. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented designer and drafter with procurement experience who thrives in a remote work environment and understands the communication discipline and accountability that comes with it. The right candidate is proactive, responsive, and confident working independently while staying closely connected to the team through regular check-ins.
