Experienced Sales Associate – Custom & Sustainable Furniture

AYI & Associates is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our boutique showroom in Carmel-by-the-Sea. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the design industry or in high-value, client-focused sales. Our showroom features custom, American-made furniture by Ashley Yeates and sustainably crafted pieces by Masaya & Co. What You’ll Do: • Guide clients through our curated furniture collections • Build strong, design-forward relationships • Communicate the story and craftsmanship behind our offerings • Manage special orders and in-store sales • Help meet and exceed monthly sales goals We’re Looking For: • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in furniture, interiors, or luxury/high-end products • Strong communication and storytelling skills • A genuine passion for sustainable design • Confidence in working independently in a boutique setting Compensation & Perks: • $18–$20/hr base + commission on monthly sales over $50,000 • Flexible schedule & employee discount • Beautiful location in Carmel-by-the-Sea • Meaningful work with clients who care about quality and sustainability If you're ready to bring your experience and passion for design into a mission-driven, high-touch environment — we’d love to connect.
