We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Kitchen and Bath Designer. In this role, you will lead the creative process from concept to completion, transforming client visions into stunning, functional spaces. Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets for kitchen and bathroom remodels.
Develop detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and 3ds Max, ensuring precision and creativity.
Create comprehensive presentation boards incorporating Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively.
Prepare accurate construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and specifications using Bluebeam and CAD drafting standards.
Select materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, and cabinetry that align with client style and project requirements while considering color theory and lighting design principles.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts to ensure seamless execution from initial concept through installation.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers during renovation and construction phases to maintain quality standards.
Provide expert guidance on remodeling processes, renovation strategies, and lighting sales to optimize space functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Stay current with industry trends in interior design, cabinetry solutions, lighting technology, and sustainable practices to deliver innovative solutions.
Experience
Proven experience as a Residential Kitchen and Bath Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects especially in older homes and in adaptive reuse development.
Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max (3d ), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Excel and scheduling software management is a plus.
Solid understanding of drafting techniques, color theory application in interior spaces, and CAD standards for detailed documentation.
Knowledge of project management practices including budgeting, scheduling, contracts administration, and vendor coordination.
Familiarity with lighting sales strategies as well as renovation and remodeling processes within residential settings.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
