While we value candidates with residential building experience, applicants for this position must have prior experience in interior commercial construction, specifically working with metal studs and suspended acoustical ceilings (ACT). **Responsibilities:** - Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches accurately and lay out work accordingly. - Demonstrate proficiency in metal stud framing with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - Walk on stilts and install ACT ceilings. - Construct window frames, doors, staircases, and install hardware. - Finish drywall as needed. **Skills:** - Proven experience as a carpenter. - Hands-on experience with carpentry materials, especially metal studs. - Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques, methods of installation, and construction. - Proficient in using both electrical and manual tools and measurement devices (e.g., powered saws, hammers, rulers). - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. - Strong commitment to following safety guidelines at all times. - Good physical condition and endurance. - Reliable transportation is a must. - Availability to work from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
