We are looking for an Entry-Level Designer who is eager to learn and excited to contribute across a wide range of project types and phases of work. This role is ideal for someone with strong design instincts, curiosity about the profession, and an interest in both the creative and technical aspects of architecture.
You’ll work closely with project teams across the firm, supporting design studies, documentation, visualization, research, and presentations while developing your technical and professional skills through hands-on experience. We value people who ask thoughtful questions, communicate clearly, and enjoy being part of a collaborative design process.
What You’ll Do
Support project teams across multiple phases of design and documentation with a collaborative and curious approach Contribute to design studies, presentations, and project development through graphic, written, and verbal communication Assist with architectural drawings, renderings, models, diagrams, and presentation materials Research, organize, and compile information to support project work and design investigations Learn and develop proficiency in tools including Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Participate in ARC’s iterative design process through exploration of ideas, options, and project attributes Communicate clearly with team members regarding task status, deadlines, and coordination needs Participate in office-wide design conversations, reviews, and knowledge-sharing opportunities Contribute positively to ARC’s collaborative studio culture and team environment Demonstrate curiosity about ARC’s work, design values, and project pursuit process
What We’re Looking For
Professional degree in Architecture or Interiors Strong design sensibility and interest in creating meaningful spaces and experiences Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication abilities Good organizational and time management skills Interest in learning both the creative and technical aspects of architectural practice Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn Ability to work thoughtfully and collaboratively within a team environment
