BA is an architecture and interior design firm that is a leader in healthcare, life sciences, workplace, and early learning facilities. We provide architecture and interior design services from thriving offices in Sacramento, Boulder, Charlotte, Dallas, Irvine, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle.Position Overview:We are seeking a full‑time emerging professional with an interior design focus to join our Sacramento team. This person will help design and document a variety of healthcare project types in all phases from programming through construction administration. Top candidates will be comfortable using computational design tools to drive project design and production. They will be looking for an open office environment with long‑term career potential and will be eager to learn quickly and progress in their careers.Duties & Responsibilities:Plan and execute work as a reliable, integral member of a project teamCoordinate work with consultants, clients and regulatory agenciesDevelop project documentation in RevitSupport the interior design and project teams as assignedHelp to maintain the interiors libraryRequired Experience/Attributes:6 months of relevant professional experiencePortfolio that demonstrates excellence in design thinkingAt least 6 months of Revit experienceAttention to detail and positive attitudeSelf‑motivated and able to problem‑solve independentlyAccountable and results‑orientedInterest in healthcare designPreferred Experience:Interest in lean construction methodsCommitment to sustainable design practicesCommitment to promoting an equitable and inclusive team environmentPhysical Requirements:Physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:Ability to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone and perform repetitive motion (keyboard); writing (note taking); reading and analyzing written materialAbility to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to thirty (30) lbsAbility to express or exchange ideas to impart information to the public and internal employees and to convey detailed instructions accurately and quicklyThe hourly rate for this full‑time, non‑exempt position starts at a MINIMUM of $24.04 per hour, depending on experience.
