Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Draftsman / Residential Plan Designer based in Raleigh, NC, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Responsibilities include designing, drafting, and revising residential construction plans, collaborating with clients and architects to develop design solutions, and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. You will support the construction team by providing accurate blueprints, detailed technical drawings, and timely updates. Qualifications Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar toolsExperience in residential design, including floor plans, elevations, and construction detailingStrong knowledge of local building codes and regulationsExcellent spatial planning and architectural visualization skillsEffective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and cross-functional teamsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAssociate degree in Drafting, Architecture, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred) or equivalent experienceExperience in residential construction or home building is a plus
