Role Description The Drafter role at SOURCE, LLC is a full-time entry level, on-site position based in Atlanta, GA. This role involves producing accurate technical drawings, elevations, and construction documents that support architects, interior designers, and project managers throughout the design process. The Drafter will translate design concepts and material selections into detailed plans, coordinate revisions based on client and team feedback, and ensure drawings comply with project specifications and relevant standards. Day-to-day tasks include updating drawings, organizing documentation, collaborating with design and sourcing teams, and preparing layouts and details that reflect the curated finishes and architectural elements used on each project. The Drafter will also help maintain drawing templates, support site visit documentation, and contribute to clear communication between internal teams and external partners. Qualifications Proficiency in drafting and design software (e.g., AutoCAD and/or Rhino 3D) and the ability to produce precise technical drawings and elevations. Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, construction documentation, and standard detailing practices. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a studio environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, project managers, and vendors on-site. Ability to interpret design concepts, material specifications, and site information, and translate them into clear, buildable documents. Experience working with high-end finishes, architectural elements, or curated materials is beneficial. Prior experience in architecture, interior design, or related drafting roles is preferred; associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting, architecture, or a related field is advantageous.
