Role Description The Drafter will support the design team by producing precise technical drawings and documentation for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating design concepts into detailed plans, elevations, and sections; updating drawings based on design revisions; on-site measuring, coordinating drawing sets for permitting and construction; construction administration support and maintaining organized project files. The Drafter will collaborate closely with designers to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with project specifications, while meeting established timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role located in York, PA. Qualifications Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and basic 3D modeling tools. Strong technical drafting skills, including floor plans, elevations, sections, basic site plans, cabinetry detailing and construction details. Knowledge of residential and commercial design standards, building codes, and construction documentation practices. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and field notes. Solid organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with designers, project managers, and external partners. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in drafting, architectural technology, interior design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with high-end or luxury residential design environments is a plus, along with familiarity with Central PA building practices.
