About this role

Your RoleWe are seeking an Interiors-focused architectural designer to join our Los Angeles team. You'll combine creativity, storytelling, and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce experience driven spaces for clients. The ideal candidate has exceptional design skills, mixed-use experience, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts.What You Will DoLead/assist a project team in developing the aesthetic design and preparing the interior design, including drawings and specificationsDevelop space planning concepts and generate program documentsParticipate in selection of furniture systems and specificationsProvide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionDevelop design documentation at all stages of the project from test-fit plans, finishes & materials concepts, and selection of products.Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesParticipate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samplesManage client expectations, and coordinate team and consultant communicationsYour QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.At least 5 years of relevant experienceComputer skills should include a minimum of Revit and Adobe Programs.Ability to prioritize and manage the design of multiple projects.Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materialsAbility to communicate design ideas and direction quicklyStrong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skillsKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp requiredBachelor's degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureNCIDQ preferred but not required; working toward licensure is supported and encouragedTO BE CONSIDERED, PLEASE SUBMIT A CURRENT PORTFOLIO AND/OR WORK SAMPLES IN PDF FORMAT**The base salary will be estimated between $78,000 - $95,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
