Designer

RJE has an opening for a designer in our Indianapolis office. As a designer, you will be responsible for commercial furniture specifications. The role is full-time and on site. Reports to: design director Qualifications: Interior Design degree – 4 years1-2 years previous design experience related to the commercial furniture industry, preferred but not requiredProficient with: AutoCADPreferred: CETPreferred: CAP 20/20Preferred: Adobe Creative SuiteProficient with: Microsoft Office suite of productsCritical/creative problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time, at times within limited timeframes Tasks and responsibilities include: Client fact finding process and programmingCreating design presentations to support furniture typical specificationsDevelop furniture floorplan, specifications, and finish package for approvalAssists with Bid or Proposal Responses by assembling collateral materialsParticipates in product evaluation and selectionProvide installation packetsConducts field measurements For consideration, please submit your resume and cover letter to Devyn Hage at dhage@rje-bi.com
