Design Studio Assistant

Job Title: Design Studio Assistant Location: Tampa, FL Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Design Studio Assistant to support our new construction design team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for interior design, home building, and customer experience. You will assist homebuyers and designers throughout the selection process, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients during design appointments with selections for finishes, fixtures, and upgrades Prepare and maintain design studio displays and sample materials Enter and track customer selections accurately in internal systems Support designers with administrative tasks and client follow-ups Maintain organized records, pricing sheets, and vendor catalogs Ensure the design studio remains clean, organized, and visually appealing Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in design, real estate, construction, or a related field preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Skills: Familiarity with new home construction or builder design centers Basic understanding of floorplans, finishes, and product selections Experience working with clients in a consultative setting What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth within the design team Collaborative and creative work environment Health, dental and vision insurance, IRA, retirement plans after 90-day probation How to Apply: Please submit your resume along with a brief note about your interest in the role to jjohnson@total-design-source.com Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
