Job Description
As a Design Consultant at Renewal by Andersen of Northeast PA, you will play a pivotal role in helping homeowners transform their living spaces with high-quality replacement windows and doors. You will be responsible for meeting with potential customers in their homes, assessing their needs, and providing tailored solutions that enhance their comfort, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.

New hires will participate in a thorough training program covering our products, sales processes, customer service techniques, and the use of sales software and tools. Continuous training opportunities are offered to enhance your skills and support your development.
What You’ll Do

· Arrive at sales appointments fully prepared and on time, taking ownership of appointments and demonstrating a strong commitment to converting sales leads into successful sales.
· Utilize Renewal selling tools and communication strategies to clearly convey product benefits.
· Actively listen to and engage with a diverse customer base and adjust approach as necessary to meet their individual needs
· Develop proficiency in assessing window needs, recording accurate measurements, and translating findings into a visual layout and detailed scope of work that aligns with customer expectations.
· Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Renewal offerings.
· Regularly communicate with homeowners and colleagues by phone and e-mail to provide updates, answer questions and address concerns. Ensure timely follow-ups.
· Attend regularly scheduled sales meetings to provide updates, share experiences and collaborate with team members to continually improve performance and knowledge.
· Take part in training opportunities with an open mind and commitment to continuous improvement.
Who You Are
· Comfortable using technology to present, track and manage sales activities; proficiency in Apple-based sales presentation software a plus.
· Deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
· Strong self-management skills to follow through on business needs and customer concerns while proficiently processing details, providing accurate documentation and contract paperwork, and adhering to established processes and procedures.
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and creatively approach challenges.
· Professional and respectful in all internal and external interactions.
Work environment
· In home sales demonstrations throughout the Northeast PA territory.
Physical demands
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time
Travel Requirements
· Ability to drive to and from customer homes throughout the Northeast PA territory is required.
· Reliable transportation.
Preferred education and experience
· Previous sales experience strongly preferred
· Customer Service experience
· Spanish/English proficiency a plus
Eligibility requirements
· Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required for attending sales appointments.
· Ability to pass a criminal background check.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
· Must be eligible to work in the United States.
