Design Center Manager/Interior Designer

Role Description The Design Center Manager/Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Plano, TX, responsible for leading the design center experience and overseeing interior design services for our North Texas home buyers. This role manages the selection and presentation of finishes, fixtures, and furnishings, ensuring all design options align with Sobha Realty’s luxury standards and brand aesthetics. The position involves meeting with clients to understand their lifestyle and preferences, preparing design proposals, mood boards, and material palettes, and guiding customers through design decisions from concept to installation. The Design Center Manager/Interior Designer collaborates closely with sales teams, project managers, and vendors to coordinate timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while maintaining accurate documentation of selections and change orders. Day-to-day responsibilities also include supervising display layouts, monitoring inventory of samples, and ensuring an exceptional, service-oriented client experience. Qualifications Strong interior design skills, including space planning, finish and material selection, and furniture and lighting coordination.Experience managing a design center or showroom, including product presentation, client consultations, and selection documentation.Solid project coordination abilities, including scheduling, vendor liaison, and aligning design deliverables with construction timelines.Excellent client-facing communication skills.Knowledge of high-end residential design trends, materials, and finishes.Proven leadership and team management capabilities, including staff training, performance oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; relevant certifications are an advantage.Strong organizational and detail-oriented.
