dcb is seeking a talented Project Architect, Senior Project Architect or Architectural Designer to join our design studio.
We are a Denver based fully integrated design-build firm serving a wide range of commercial and industrial markets along Colorado’s front range. At dcb you will be a part of a motivated group of enthusiastic architects, preconstruction, and construction professionals cohesive in our mission to create wonderfully successful projects for ourselves and our clients.
About The Role
This person will be a contributing teammate on projects from concept to construction completion and should possess the ability to conceptualize and develop the design through the different stages of a project. Strong graphic communication skills in both presentation and production drawing formats are paramount. This person should also possess a solid understanding of construction methods and detailing while demonstrating an eagerness to learn, strong listening and communication skills in collaboration with clients, consultants and other team members.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial architecture, 10+ years for a senior positionNAAB accredited bachelor's or master’s degree in architectureLicensed (or pursuing license) in ColoradoExperience in Revit, Bluebeam and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with Lumion, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365 Suite, Microsoft Project a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills in a wide range of environments including with clients of varying types, with the ability to listen and help determine their program requirements and overall project visionStrong programming, design and problem-solving skillsExcellent graphic communication skills. Rendering skills a plus.Ability to work on multiple projects concurrentlyHighly collaborative with an understanding of big-picture goals blending the execution of design excellence, budget and timingA strong understanding of evolving materials and methods used in the construction industry and proficient in technical detailingExperience working with jurisdictions to effectively gain positive traction on projects
