Role Description The Construction Project Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Eugene, OR, responsible for overseeing residential design-build projects from planning through completion. This position manages project schedules, coordinates subcontractors and vendors, and ensures work is completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes. Daily tasks include monitoring jobsite progress, tracking budgets and change orders, conducting site meetings, and communicating updates to clients and internal design teams. The role also involves managing permits and inspections, resolving issues that arise during construction, and maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards on all projects.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Construction Project Management and Construction Management for residential projects.Experience with Project Management and Project Coordination, including scheduling, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.Proficiency in Budgeting, cost tracking, and managing change orders to keep projects on time and within financial targets.Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with clients, designers, trades, and suppliers.Comfort using project management and construction software (e.g., scheduling tools, digital plans, and documentation systems).Relevant experience in residential design-build or general contracting; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
