What we are looking for Commercial Architects and Interior Designers with 5-8 years of experienceBased in Washington, DC metro area for hybrid work (3 days in office, 2 days remote)Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior DesignExperience in Commercial projects and repositioning is a plus! Exhibits design and technological sophistication, and is self-starting, energetic, and creativeExcellent Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skillsAbility to work with the Senior Designer to develop strong design concepts and accurately document them in design presentations and construction documentsExperience with space planning, FF&E specifications, material selections, codes, and coordination with consultantsExperience with the construction administration process Excellent 3D graphic rendering skillsFluent in written and spoken EnglishValid work permit (USA) What we prefer LEED and/or WELL accreditationProgress towards Architectural Licensure or NCIDQ Certification What You Will Do Select and present building systems and design materials to clients and collaborate closely to address program, goals, and feedbackWork with Design Directors to lead and develop the project design vision, carrying design intent through all phases. Produce creative design solutions and accurate construction detailing, ensuring design intent is upheld in construction documents and specificationsConduct building systems, materials, zoning, and code research, and apply findings to design decisionsCoordinate with project managers and consultants to align design with budget, schedule, zoning, and code constraintsLead, mentor, and delegate work within the project team, fostering collaboration and professional growthOversee and participate in design peer reviews and jurisdictional approval processes as requiredIntegrate sustainable design strategies and support LEED or other sustainability goals when applicableContribute to firm‑wide design culture through communication, mentorship, and participation in office‑wide design initiatives What we offer Hybrid Work, in the office 3 days/week, remote 2 days*Please note this position is for our Washington, DC office only.
