About this role
About Ishita Interiors
Ishita Interiors is a luxury interior design firm serving short-term rental investors in the Greater Asheville market and beyond. We help clients create distinctive, high-performing properties that stand out in a crowded market and deliver a stronger guest experience.
About the Role
We are hiring a Client Success Manager to own the sales process from first inbound inquiry through signed contract, deposit collection, and a clean kickoff handoff to the design team.
This is a sales-led, client-facing role. You will respond to inbound leads, lead discovery conversations, guide qualified prospects through the next steps, manage follow-up, move deals toward close, and ensure every project is fully documented before handoff.
This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys consultative selling, structured follow-up, and helping serious clients make confident decisions.
Why This Role Matters
This role sits at the point where strong demand becomes signed business. The right person will help prospects move from interest to action, protect the client experience during the sales cycle, and make sure the design team receives complete, ready-to-launch projects.
What You’ll Do
Respond to and qualify inbound leads from social media, referral partners, and other company channels
Lead discovery conversations with investors, understand project goals, and position Ishita Interiors’ services with confidence
Guide prospects through strategy consultations, proposals, objections, contracts, and deposit collection
Maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence so active opportunities continue moving toward a clear next step
Manage the pipeline in HoneyBook, keeping notes, status, and required client information complete and current
Confirm contracts are fully executed and 50% deposits are collected before a project is handed to the design team
Prepare a complete kickoff package so the design team receives the context, scope, and client details needed to start well
Flag at-risk opportunities early and escalate when a warm deal is stalled or key information is missing
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or contract-based client-facing role with multi-step close cycles
A strong track record of closing business, not just supporting or servicing existing accounts
Comfort leading live discovery calls, handling objections, and asking for the next commitment
High attention to detail and strong CRM discipline
Ability to work well in a founder-led, high-expectation environment with premium clients and high-value projects
Clear communication skills, sound judgment, and confidence discussing budgets, timelines, and investment goals
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with luxury real estate, interior design, boutique hospitality, short-term rental investment, or a comparable high-touch service business
Hands-on experience with HoneyBook or a similar CRM and proposal-to-contract workflow
Familiarity with investor conversations, ROI-oriented decision making, and referral-driven lead sources
Compensation
Base salary range: $45,000 to $55,000, depending on experience and demonstrated performance
Sales commission: Eligible for performance-based variable pay tied to qualifying projects and collected eligible fees
Total earning potential: Approximately $87,600 at 5 qualifying projects per month using current modeled assumptions, with unlimited upside as average project fee mix increases
Compensation summary: Base salary is guaranteed. Sales commission is not guaranteed and must be earned through performance
Location and Work Model
Greater Asheville, North Carolina is preferred. Hybrid is preferred for local candidates. Remote candidates may be considered if they bring strong relevant experience and can reliably work Eastern Time hours.
