Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Knoxville, TN, for Book Editors at Walk In The Light Publishing. Book Editors will be responsible for reviewing manuscripts, ensuring clarity and coherence, and editing text for grammatical accuracy and stylistic integrity. The role includes collaborating with authors to refine their work, providing constructive feedback, and proofreading content to meet professional publishing standards. Additionally, Book Editors will manage communications with writers and coordinate revisions to achieve a polished final product. Qualifications Expertise in Manuscript Review and Text Editing Strong Writing and Proofreading skills Excellent Communication and Collaboration abilities Familiarity with Christian values and the ability to align content with the company’s mission Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest publishing standards Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Writing, or a related field preferred Previous experience in editing or publishing is a plus
