Bath and Kitchen Designer

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Bath and Kitchen Cabinetry Designer to bring innovative, functional, and aesthetically stunning spaces to life. Our premier showroom proudly represents elite cabinetry lines, including Downsview Kitchens, Harmoni Kitchens, Grabill Cabinetry, Showplace Cabinetry, Bellmont Cabinets, and Primary Kitchens. In this role, your primary focus will be leveraging your expert knowledge of cabinetry design and spatial planning to translate client visions into flawless, executable realities. While we value comprehensive design skills, this position specifically requires strong proficiency in 2020 Design Live or AutoCAD to manage projects seamlessly from conception through installation. Duties Client Consultation: Meet with clients, contractors, and architects to assess project scope, preferences, and budgets for high-end kitchen and bath renovations. Cabinetry & Layout Design: Develop comprehensive, detailed cabinetry layouts, elevations, and space plans utilizing 2020 Design Live and AutoCAD. Brand Specification: Guide clients through material selections, door styles, finishes, and technical specifications unique to our represented lines (Downsview, Harmoni, Grabill, Showplace, Bellmont, and Primary). Technical Documentation: Prepare accurate construction documents, detailed floor plans, and mechanical specifications for contractors and installation teams. Project Coordination: Partner with project managers, builders, and suppliers to ensure design integrity, accurate ordering, and seamless execution within timelines. Design Presentations: Present sophisticated design proposals, clearly communicating the aesthetic vision, functionality, and value of the selected cabinetry solutions. Sales Support: Assist in showroom sales efforts by providing expert technical advice on remodeling strategies, custom modifications, and optimal space utilization. Experience & Qualifications Cabinetry Design Expertise: Proven experience in interior design with a heavy, dedicated focus on kitchen and bath cabinetry layout and specification. Software Proficiency: Strong, hands-on proficiency in 2020 Design Live and AutoCAD is required for drafting, ordering, and visualization. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Bluebeam is a plus. Product Knowledge: Direct experience working with or specifying semi-custom and full-custom cabinetry lines (experience with our specific brands is highly preferred). Technical Precision: Strong understanding of construction processes, remodeling procedures, and field measuring. Project Management: Ability to oversee multiple client projects efficiently, from initial field measure to final hardware installation. Communication & Drive: Outstanding communication skills with a lively, motivational approach to client consultations and team collaboration. Join Us!
