We invite you to be part of our vision as we seek an Architectural Specifications Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role involves developing, coordinating, and managing written technical requirements that align with our design intent while ensuring clarity and quality throughout the documentation process. Your Role: Craft, edit, and coordinate specifications for diverse project types and delivery methods.Collaborate with architects, designers, and technical staff to align specifications with design intent and project goals.Advise project teams on material selections and building systems to enhance constructability and quality.Tailor specifications to align with project scope and procurement approaches while ensuring consistency across contract documents.Maintain and enhance in-house master specifications and technical standards to support firm-wide quality.Deliver accurate, coordinated, and high-quality documentation to meet project schedules.Work with the Specifications Leader to continuously improve departmental processes.Your Qualifications: Familiarity with the CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) Masterformat standard.Proficiency in specification-writing platforms; experience with RIB SpecLink is preferred.Working knowledge of SpecsIntact is a plus.Strong understanding of construction documentation and building materials.Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines under pressure.Exceptional communication, coordination, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Qualifications That Set You Apart: A degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, interior design, or a related field is preferred.5-7 years of experience in managing architectural specifications for construction documents.Strong knowledge of building products and construction documentation standards.Experience in an architectural, engineering, or construction environment is highly favorable.Certification in CSI's CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) is advantageous.Why Work at LS3P?
