About this role

Architect/Designer Client is a group of architects, interior designers, and custom fabricators. They are a Salt Lake City-based studio that enjoys having their main space in the heart of Downtown, with their Fabrication facility just a few blocks away. Their energy is spent in diverse ways, with a wide range of architectural projects like the world's most pet-friendly hotel in Kanab for Best Friends Animal Society, 'Kings Crown,' the largest on-mountain ski-in-ski out development in Park City, affordable housing projects, custom residences, art galleries, as well as boutique office spaces. They also like to challenge themselves in the other segment of their studio, which includes designing, fabricating, and installing fast-paced projects like Open LA for Airbnb, Sundance venues for Facebook, TNT, YouTube & Sundance TV, along with high-profile projects like the 'infinity Ballroom' for the Screen Actors Guild awards ceremony after party. We are searching for creative people to join our award-winning studio that share our passion for producing high-quality work. Because we are a boutique-sized operation, the position will demand strong team collaboration skills and a comfort level with working on all stages of a project, from conceptualization through the technical construction phases. We would love you to join us if you are an Architect/Designer with: A professional degree in Architecture 2 or more years of professional experience as an Architect/Designer Experience in construction documents and construction administration Licensure and/or LEED certification are assets Daily tasks may include: Reporting to the Partners Communication with client & consultant teams Technical production of drawing sets Essential skills: Strong conceptual and design skills Technical detailing & construction administration Software skills required: Revit, Sketch up, Adobe Suite Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget your time Ability to take the initiative in response to direction or instruction A flexible and open attitude toward new ways of working Great interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of construction methods Experience working on unique and complex project types of all scales Skills: Adobe Product Family, Affordable Housing, Architectural Design, Architectural Services, Budgeting, Communication Skills, Construction, Construction Administration, Construction Document Set, Consulting, Facebook, Interior Design, Interpersonal Skills, Team Player, Technical Drawing, Time Management, YouTube About the Company: Professional Recruiters
