About this role

Architect I / Architect II Denver, CO, USA or Anywhere, USA Part-time $33 to $45 per hour Architects Unlimited LLC is a small collaborative practice focused on our clients’ goals, keeping our clients happy, design aesthetics, efficiency, excellent drawings and details. Our projects include restaurants, car washes, convenience stores, retail, escape rooms, storage buildings and offices. We are seeking a part-time architectural contractor or employee who will work about 20 hours/week. This position can be 100% remote. The ideal candidate, however, will be available to meet in-person about 5% of the time. This could become a 40 hour/week salaried position if our workload continues to increase and if you wish for the increased hours. This role is intended for a licensed architect or someone pursuing their license with approximately 3–10 years of experience working under an architect who is ready for the responsibility of project development, consultant coordination, technical execution, and client communication. What You’ll Do Support projects from schematic design through construction administrationLead aspects of project development and coordination appropriate to experience levelProduce and refine drawings, BIM models, and presentation materialsPrepare permit and construction document setsCoordinate with consultants, engineers, and specialty teamsHelp lead a drafter and redline drawings.Participate in client meetings and presentations (with increasing leadership opportunities)Conduct code research and support permitting strategiesDevelop renderings, diagrams, and presentation materialsAssist with scheduling, task management, and project coordinationSupport construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site visits, consultant coordination)Contribute to QA/QC and technical consistency across documentsHelp improve office standards, templates, and workflowsSupport and mentor junior staff as opportunities ariseWhat We’re Looking For Required 3+ years of architectural experienceProfessional degree in Architecture (M.Arch preferred)Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong communication and graphic presentation skillsUnderstanding of building codes, detailing, and construction documentationExperience with building systems and construction methodsStrong organization and ability to manage multiple prioritiesSelf-motivated, collaborative, and detail-orientedPreferred Experience with restaurants, car washes, convenience stores, retail, escape rooms, storage buildings and officesExperience in construction administrationExperience coordinating consultants and permit processesLicensure or active pursuit of licensureExperience mentoring junior staffExperience leading project teams and client coordination Apply Please send your resume and portfolio/work samples (under 20 MB) to studio@architects-unlimited.net
