From early conversations through installation, you’ll partner with customers to understand their needs, develop furniture solutions, and create spaces that support how people work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining design thinking, creative problem-solving, and client collaboration to help shape meaningful workplace experiences. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) Create Workplace Solutions: Develop thoughtful furniture and workplace solutions that support client goals, culture, and the way people workPresent workplace concepts, space plans, finish palettes, and furniture solutions that bring design vision to lifeHost live design sessions to engage the client by taking their immediate feedback to refine solutionsProduce technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and CET, including block plans, working drawings, and as-builtsConduct site reviews, field measurements, and programming interviews with end usersValidate plans against construction and A&D drawing setsDevelop product specifications, manage revisions, and maintain project documentationBuild Trusted Client Relationships & Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for select major accountsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and end usersSupport account growth and contribute to annual sales and profitability goals through strong client partnershipsConduct regular reviews and action plans to identify growth opportunities and ensure customer needs are metMaintain understanding of key purchasing contracts and customer standardsProvide educational and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and loyaltyCoordinate Successful Project Execution: Coordinate with project managers, installation crews, and contractors to ensure successful executionConduct walkthroughs and ensure final punch items are resolvedEnsure warranty issues are resolved in a timely mannerManage project budgets and timelinesMaintain CRM and project records according to company protocolTechnical & Professional Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD requiredExperience with CET is preferred, but not requiredExperience with Hedberg is a plusStay current on workplace trends, new products, and emerging technologiesWhat Makes You Successful: Strong furniture design and space planning knowledge with the ability to quickly learn and apply new product solutionsCustomer-focused mindset with consultative sales abilityStrong relationship-building and communication skillsAbility to balance multiple projects and prioritiesComfortable working independently and collaboratively Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent related experience2+ years of experience in commercial furniture, workplace design, space planning, or related industries preferredValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to walk moderate distances, climb stairs, and navigate active or unfinished building environments during site visits Why Join WorkSpace Interiors?
