The Century House

The Century House in Madison, WI is seeking a Design Consultant to help customers select desirable home furnishings and create beautiful spaces. You will become an expert on modern furnishings and assist with space planning and design recommendations in a full-time, on-site role. Applicants should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, be comfortable with computers, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Design Consultant, you will help customers select from some of the most desirable home furnishings in the world. Our sales staff works as a team to deliver the best possible service to our customers. Experience in design, sales and furniture is helpful, but not required. Assist customers in the storeAnswer phones and communicate with customers via email and phoneDevelop space plans and design recommendationsEnter sales and orders using a computerHelp to maintain our showroom (clean, make price tags, design vignettes, etc. Most Saturdays are required.
