Pulse Design Group is looking for a full-time Architect or Interior Design Associate to join our healthcare facility design team in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a degree in architecture and/or interior design, proficiency in Revit, Excel, and Bluebeam, along with a minimum of two years' experience in architectural practice, especially in healthcare. This role involves collaboration with project leads, external engineers, and clients, as well as producing design documents and participating in construction administration tasks. Strong communication skills and an ability to plan work tasks effectively are essential.

Position requirements: • Proficient in Revit; • Minimum of two years' experience; • Works effectively under the direction of directors/project managers; works collaboratively in a team environment, both in the firm and with external engineers/consultants; • Excellent written and oral communication skills; • Ability to travel for work occasionally. Responsibilities may include: • Working with Project Leads to design and produce project deliverables; • Coordinating with external engineers/consultants; • Potential interaction with clients, consultants, general contractors, etc; • Navigating local and state municipality/authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements/approvals; • Project work planning to achieve required schedule milestones; • Preparation of meeting agendas and written documentation of project meetings; • Project site investigation/documentation of existing site conditions; • Departmental and room-by-room space programming; • Schematic design; • Design development drawings & specifications; • Construction documents preparation; • Construction administration tasks, including on-site observation of projects during construction; This is a full-time, salaried position.
