HRsmart in Austin, TX is seeking a Interior Design Intern to support the Interior Design Studio during the Summer of 2026. You will manage the Interior Library, assist with rep and product updates, and collaborate with the design team. The internship is on-site, paid, and offers hands-on exposure to schematic, design and construction documentation, library organization, and sample coordination with product representatives.

Ordering and pulling product samples as requested by the design team Maintain and organize materials in the resource library and ensure that items are up to date Assist team members in accessing materials from the resources library as needed Research and request samples for designers from product representatives on product websites Participates in the development of schematic, design and construction documents and specifications to assist in the development of design intent Additional projects to support the Interior Design Department as assigned Job Requirements Enrollment in a two-year Interior Design degree program required, a four-year degree program preferred The ability to learn and use required computer applications; Revit, Enscape, Excel, Word and PDF editing software Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset Listen actively, acknowledge and respond to feedback Willingness to work in a team environment to achieve desired results The ability to work independently with little direction to complete assigned tasks The ability to effectively communicate verbally and written with all levels of staff. Duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. The intern will work on-site in our Austin TX office during the Summer of 2026.

Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required. The intern will work on-site in our Austin TX office during the Summer of 2026.
