Adjunct Instructor Interior Design Department: Hillier College of Arch & Design Position Summary: The NJIT School of Art & Design is recruiting a pool of applicants interested in teaching classes in the Interior Design program on an ongoing basis. Communicate with students, faculty and administration on student progress throughout the semester. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items. Applicants must provide a link in their cover letter to a digital portfolio in PDF format containing samples of scholarly work, research, and design projects, students' work, and/or whatever material the candidate deems to be relevant.

• *Job Description:** We are seeking a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach classes in our Interior Design program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in interior design and a passion for teaching. • *Essential Functions: • Teaching: Integrate core concepts from past courses into the one being taught • Communicate with students, faculty, and administration on student progress throughout the semester • *Prerequisite Qualifications: • Must possess a design-related Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a bachelor's degree with appropriate industry experience

The NJIT School of Art & Design is recruiting a pool of applicants interested in teaching classes in the Interior Design program on an ongoing basis. Qualified applicants not able to take on a class in a particular semester would continue to be considered in future semesters. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree preferred. Applicants will need to include in their application a CV and cover letter and should indicate which course(s) they are interested in teaching from the online catalog.
