Luminaire

Luminaire is seeking a Junior Project Designer to support the design and sales teams in managing projects, preparing quotes and drawings, and ensuring smooth project execution. The ideal candidate is an early-career professional passionate about architecture and design. The role includes project documentation, showroom presentations, and installation support. Successful applicants will have a Bachelor's degree and excellent communication skills, working collaboratively with clients and team members. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and general design support will also be provided.

Design and Sales Assistant • This role provides exposure to various aspects of the Showroom Activities: sales, operations, inventory management, interior and graphic design while providing support to the Sales and Management team. • As a Sales Assistant, you will work closely with the Sales team and help provide an exceptional client experience. • You will assist with maintaining the operations of the showroom by ordering, organizing, and maintaining fabric swatch samples, catalogs, and pricelists, as well as office supplies. • Studies in interior design or architecture are preferred, • Retail sales experience or customer service experience preferred.

SUMMARY: Develops architectural plans to be used in the facilitation of design, sales, and client satisfaction. · Develops space plans; provides design concepts to meet architectural and interior design solutions up to Luminaire Standards and in a timely manner. · Develops preliminary drawings for complete projects including but not limited to floor plans, elevations, and sections and selected ceiling plans. · Prepares specifications and vision drawings for furniture placement at client site. · Complete all assigned online training classes in the proposed time frame.
