Participate in the design and development and preconstruction phases of each project to assist in the development and review of the plans and specifications, as they are produced. Participate in the turnover process from design to construction. Ensure that the construction is in accordance with the plans and specifications. manage the turnover of units from the general contractor. Coordinate mechanical trades to ensure they are transferring their as-build information to our plans on a weekly basis (Manager to review). Review permit plans and submit red lines within 72 hours to the Project Manager. Coordinate the mechanical trades and see that the update as-built drawings are done weekly as well. Physical Requirements: May be required to walk a roof; must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds; may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.

We are currently in search for a Design Assistant to work closely with the Senior Interior Designer on design, project management, purchasing and administrative support functions to ensure Client satisfaction, and meet Company objectives, at all times. • Assist Purchasing Coordinator/Manager as needed, including but not limited to the following: • Email new Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors. • Assist Design team in setting up for Client meetings. • * Coordinate vendor presentations: book library/conference room and email Design team outlook invitation. Strong communication skills required with the capability to work as part of a team.
