Interior Designer II

KSA Interiors is seeking a dynamic and motivated Interior Designer II to join our collaborative design studio in Glen Allen, Virginia. The Interior Designer II operates as an integral member of the project team, working under the direction of a Project Manager and ultimately the Project Executive. • Support all phases of interior design projects, from programming and concept development through construction administration • Prepare clear, accurate drawings, plans, and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and related design tools • Assist with space planning, finish selections, FF&E specification, and design presentations • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is achieved • Develop project documentation including finish boards, schedules, and product research • Participate in client meetings and help translate client goals into thoughtful, functional design solutions • Assist in the development of project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules • Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, and firm quality benchmarks • Participate in QA/QC reviews and contribute to ongoing process improvements • Collaborate with team members to maintain project momentum, quality, and consistency • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from a CIDA-accredited program • Minimum of 5 years of commercial interior design experience • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office • Experience with SketchUp and Enscape is a plus • Strong knowledge of space planning, finish systems, FF&E, and construction documentation • Familiarity with building codes, life safety requirements, and accessibility standards • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail • Progress toward NCIDQ certification strongly preferred If you’re fully qualified and excited about the work we do, we’d love to hear from you.
