JC Licht invites applications for a Showroom Design Consultant at our Andersonville, Lakeview and West Loop locations. If you’re passionate about interior design and helping customers, you’ll guide clients through selections of custom window treatments, wallcoverings, and paint colors for homes or businesses. You will build relationships, drive Home Fashions sales, schedule appointments, and collaborate with In-Home Services designers, delivering exceptional product knowledge and service.

As a JC Licht service professional, we train you in our extensive line of products ensuring the ability to offer expert advice to assist our clients every step of the way! As part of our Design team your focus will be to assist clients in the selection of custom window treatments, wallcoverings, and paint colors/finishes for their home and/or business. Requirements • Provide fantastic customer service through out the entire design process • Greet and engage customers, uncovering their color, wallcovering, or window treatment needs and helping them make their design vision become a reality • Continually meet and exceed sales goals for the home fashions department and your store • Be a part of the home fashions team, by cultivating appointments for the In-Home Services division and working collaboratively with its designers. • Build rapport with clients, earning their business through your ability to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and strong interpersonal skills • Develop and maintain a customer base through networking and client follow up to ensure customer satisfaction before and after the sale • Must be technologically savvy to work with various computer systems including: Outlook, Excel, ticketing systems, point of sale systems, and business-to-business ordering websites.
