Interior Design Manager

We seek an Interior Design Manager to join our team in creating beautiful spaces that respond to and support the architectural design and result in aesthetically strong, unified places which clearly communicate the brand of the institution or commercial entity. Qualities the candidate should possess include being creative, organized, can work on multiple projects at once, and be well adept at time management. Design responsibilities encompass all levels of project development, from initial planning through construction documentation, and inclusive of installation and follow up; tasks include space planning, preparation of drawings and presentation materials, furniture and finish selection, creation of finish boards, development of furniture specifications, creation of furniture and finishes budget lists, furniture procurement, furniture installation, and codification of finishes in project record books. The management of the Interiors Studio requires working with external product representatives, dealers, and manufacturers. You will be responsible for maintaining the materials library, meeting with manufacturers’ representatives to stay current on products and trends, coordinating the selection and return of samples to vendors, researching products upon team members’ request, and scheduling of lunch and learns for the architectural staff.
