Who are we looking for? GHD's Northeast Engineering Design Organization is looking for a Project Manager / Design Manager to join their team! In this role, you will have the opportunity not only to lead complex, multidiscipline design efforts, but also to contribute directly to the development and shaping of GHD's footprint in this emerging market and contribute to that growth. Process Design Engineering: Analyze information and specify the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters. Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field of study EIT and either have or be seeking to obtain a PE highly preferred A minimum of 6 years of technical, administrative and project experience, managing the design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects specifically for water and wastewater, industrial/process plants, facilities, or buildings Previous consulting experience strongly desired Knowledge of scheduling software and engineering and capital cost estimating techniques is a definite asset Able and willing to travel to client job sites as needed (primarily local with the occasional overnight) Strong communication abilities to lead a multidiscipline team As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.

You will assist with the evaluation, design, and implementation of new buildings and building alterations for a variety of project types in the commercial, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, and federal market sectors, taking on a variety of leadership roles. You will develop plans and associated projects to architecture in all its stages, setting materials, finishes, techniques, and methodologies; analyzing data and information; and developing technical and financial feasibility studies. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in : • Architectural Design : Produce multiple architectural concepts and prototypes to design a building or construction; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of architectural solutions.
