Design Project Management Position

As part of our Client Services department, the project management position works as a team leader between our Client Advisor, Design, Support, and Field Services departments to ensure the successful completion of all projects. This position will oversee the workflow from beginning to end. Responsibilities include: Manage all project details, ensuring each action-item is completed on time and accurately.Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordination activities, and resolving problems.Coordinate project management activities and be the point of contact for clients, architects, designers, factories, and installers.Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, planning, and schedule changes; recommending actions.Work with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives of project. Computer proficiency with programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointStrong organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.Ability to communicate in a positive manner technically and professionally through all means of communication.Experience negotiating with clients and vendors.Ability to read and understand architectural and structural plans.Adaptable and willing to embrace new technologies to help improve processes.Desire to work on a team in a collaborative environment.Bachelor's degree in interior design is desirable.Experience in the commercial furniture industry desirable.

Business Interiors, a MillerKnoll Furniture Dealer, is looking for a Client Services | Support with some Project Management for our rapidly growing company. This position is an integral part of our sales team and will work closing with sales, design, project management, vendors and customers. This position is on-site in our Tallahassee, FL office Responsibilities include... • Help maintain strong customer relationships by responding to internal and external customer needs and coordinating internal resources; • Assist Sales Associate or Project Manager with pricing and preparation of proposals, bids and specifications; • Aid in identifying and preparing specific ancillary price quotations; • Work with Project Managers to obtain labor quote information; • Coordinate all necessary information with vendors to get projects ready; • Prepare change orders and internally communicate any changes; • Regularly attend and participate in Team Meetings; • Project Management including working with Subcontractors on projects; The Ideal Candidate will have: • At least 2-4 years experience in sales support or a similar role.
