Industry Experience: 2–3 years of experience as a truss designer or in a similar role within the building materials industry.Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (Preferred).Software Proficiency: Proficiency in truss design software such as MiTek Sapphire, Alpine View, or ITW Building Components (Preferred).Technical Skills: Strong understanding of structural mechanics, engineering principles, and load paths.Reading Plans: Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.Attributes: High attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
