As an Architectural Designer with STV, you will enjoy outstanding opportunities for innovation, challenging design, and direct collaboration with project team members from architectural and engineering disciplines, all of which STV has in-house.Key Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will have experience working with an architectural/engineering team in preparing documents for both new construction and renovations and preparing documents for building type projects in the Science & Technology, Healthcare, Federal, and Industrial sectors. Ability to prepare architectural drawings utilizing a strong knowledge of building technology for all phases of a project.The ideal candidate will:Assist with Architectural Design work from concept design through construction documentation for projects requiring interface and collaboration with senior architectural staff and engineering disciplines.Prepare architectural drawings, utilizes a strong knowledge of building technology; and/or supervises their execution for all phases of a project.Prepare and manage cover sheets, drawing lists, and general sheets for a project.Prepare code data drawings with direction from the Lead Architect.Prepare project drawing package including plan, sections, elevations and schedules.Ensure conformance with STV established architectural practices, and technical adequacy of design and construction.Requirements:Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.Strong Proficiency with BIM / Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite are required. Auto Cadd, Photoshop, Sketchup, Enscape and Vray rendering skills are a plus.Excellent technical design capabilities and strong verbal and visual communication skills, along with a strong capacity for generating technical details that are coordinated and constructible.Must be a US Citizen.At STV, we understand that our employees work hard but also seek good work/life balance.
