The Design Assistant supports the design and administrative operations of the custom cabinetry Shop. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with design software and specifications, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent support to both clients and the Cabinet Making Team. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Assist Owner/Cabinet designer with layouts, revisions, and presentations • Prepare and organize drawings, specifications, and project files • Help with material, finish, and hardware selections • Communicate with vendors, Cabinet makers, and installers • Track orders, lead times, and project schedules • Support client meetings, emails, and follow-ups • Maintain organized office ________________________________________ Qualifications • Experience in office administration, kitchen design, or cabinetry preferred • Familiarity with kitchen layouts, cabinetry, and basic construction concepts • Proficiency with design and office software (CAD, 2020, SketchUp, or similar a plus) • Strong organizational and communication skills /Spanish a plus. • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
